 MANSAROVAR YATRA
MT. KAILASH claimed to be the apex of the Hindu religious axis is also one of the highest mountain
in Tibet at 22,022 feet, and Lake Manasarovar at 14,950 feet is said to be the highest fresh water lake in the world.
As per Hindu belief Mt Kailash is the eternal and permanent abode of Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati.
Manasarovar is believed to be created by lord Brahma We begin the tour by traveling to Kathmandu
and departing by road to the Nepal/Tibet border town of Zhangmu where we collect our transport
for further Journey We travel by the SOUTHERN route and after our pilgrimage we return by the same route.
 
day to day itinerary
Day 01 .We begin our journey traveling north west of Kathmandu (1303 m.) to Kodari. Along the Arniko
highway After completing immigration and custom formalities we drive to Nyalam to camp for overnight.
Day 02.The second day of our journey of 220 Kms from Nyalam to our night camp 220 at Tingri
is through the arid Tibetan plateau.Vegetation is sparce.Arrive camp . O/N
Day 03.Rest of the Day for acclimatization at Tingri (4000m.) O/N
Day 04.Drive 260 Kms from Old Tingri to Saga (4840 m.) crossing the river "Yarling Tsangpo" by ferry. O/N
Day 05.Drive 280 Kms to Paryang (4540 m.) O/N
Day 06.Drive 320 Kms Crossing the Mayumla Pass to Lake Manasarovar (4520 m.).O/N
Day 07.Day free for rest, Purification bath in the Holy Lake, etc. Overnight in camps.
Day 08.Drive to Darchen (4700 m.). Start Trek around Mt. Kailash (6656 m.). Overnight at Diraphuk .
Day 09.Trek and cross the Dormala pass 5600 m. Overnight at Zutulphuk in Tents.
Day 10.Trek and return to Darchen. Drive to Manasarovar Overnight in Tents.
Day 11.Start return journey by driving upto Paryang.O/N
Day 12.Drive from Paryang to Saga. O/N
