ITINERARY (Meals

Day 01 : Depart from Penang on a long journey to Kelantan. Pass by the scenic countryside where Malay houses and rice field can be seen. The landscape slowly transform to endless terrain of forest, interrupted by plantations and massive man-made lakes. Stop enroute for lunch before continuing the journey on the highway that connects both coasts of the peninsula. Watch out what is in store at Gelanggang Seni for the seasonal cultural events. Day 02 : See the rich and delightful blend of Malaysian-made items in Kota Bahru. Visit the Central market with its endless stalls, mostly owned by women. See activities ranging from the weaving of Songket cloth, to silverware mastery to kite making. Day 03 : Travel along the coastal road southwards to Rantau Abang where annually giant leatherback turtles come ashore. Continue journey to the state of Pahang. Enroute stop at Kijal to try a local delicacy, Lemang. Take a bite or two of this delicious ricecake baked in bamboo. Visit the Pandanus weaving centre and a fishing village before check into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the unspoilt beaches of Pahang. Day 04 : Visit Kuantan for a short tour before proceeding to Pekan, the royal town of Pahang. View the Royal Palace, the residence of the Sultan of Pahang. Continue on a more relax journey further south amidst terrain of plantations that diminish with the increase of housing development as you approach Johor Bharu. Cross the Causeway into Singapore after the usual customs formalities and immigration check point.
